James Harris Gallery / Message in A Bottle

James Harris Gallery is presenting a group exhibition titled “Message in a Bottle.” In bringing together a wide range of mediums – including sculpture, photography, painting and installation – the show focuses on how artists transform the expected visual utility of an object to multiple pictorial possibilities. These are artists who inherently investigate the origins of their subjects, creating fictive spaces and new relationships by placing disparate or unusual objects together in dynamic ways.

Featured artists include: Eric Elliott, Francisco Guerrero, Helga Steppan, Stephanie Syjuco, and Andrew Witkin. The show opens on February 14th and continues through March 15th.
